Hello,
I set up this site with a template for educators, so right now there's a lot of structure related to that.
As we learn more about how this wiki works, we'll be able to refine it to fit our group better.
Please share your insights and input and feel free to make improvements to the site!

How to use this wiki to build your massage therapy and bodywork community:

Post announcements about your business or massage and bodywork-related events
Start a thread to share things you're working on, interested in, or seeking resources for
Use threads to pose questions and invite ideas, feedback and discussion
Whenever you post something on the site, invite people to share their input
Brainstorm ideas on wiki "whiteboard" pages
Invite other massage and bodywork practitioners to join this site
Use the Project Schedule feature to organize group projects and events
Use the person-to-person messaging feature to network with other members

Co-create a CE Course for Massage Therapists and Bodyworkers

Description:

Let's co-create a fun home study course about any topic that interests you.
Anyone can post an idea and anyone can add to it including questions, experiences, resources, etc.
When we all feel it's complete, I'll submit it to the NCBTMB for acceptance.
Once it's accepted, I'll send an announcement to everyone who's contributed.
Contributors can enroll, take the test and get the CE credit FREE, compliments of Health Positive!

Guidelines:

In order to be accepted by the NCBTMB, home study courses must either be kinesthetic OR cognitive.

Kinesthetic home study courses teach hands-on, kinesthetic skills BUT they must include a kinesthetic test with a live person doing the evaluation. I don't think we'll be able to do that (unless maybe you have ideas on how). So the home study courses we co-create will be cognitive.
Cognitive courses teach:

Concepts, terms, attitudes, theories, facts, viewpoints, research

They can share stories from real-life practice, too, including how problems were solved problems or how valuable lessons were learned

Business, ethics and science are good topics

However, anatomy, physiology and other topics that are taught in massage & bodywork schools are only accepted if the material is beyond the core curriculum level

Deadline:

Right now there's no deadline for this project, but if we get a course that's looking nearly done, then I'll give it a deadline so people will know it's time to wrap up their contributions.
